Founded in 2006 by Rebecca Doyle, Chez Bec has long been considered as one of the UK’s leading designers of pearl wedding jewellery. They’ve even won a few awards to prove is, namely the highly coveted Wedding Ideas Awards 2010, 2011 & 2012 for Best Bridal Accessories and The Sheerluxe Awards 2011 for Wedding Jewellery (they’ve been highly commended in that one too).
Rebecca Doyle is the founder of Chez Bec, juggles parenthood, house renovation, the running of our sister company Isabella Grace AND her work at Chez Bec with such aplomb and finesse, that if we didn’t love her so much we’d probably be a bit bitter.
Always glamorous and smiling, Rebecca is the key to Chez Bec’s business success. She wishes that it could be Christmas every day, but so long as there’s a gin and tonic (and some Lindt balls or cheesy puffs) at the end of a long hard day, she’s a happy woman.
Harriet Rouse hates having her photo taken almost as much as she hates spiders. Which, for the record, is quite a lot.
Designing and making jewellery are her love, and she adores taking on a bespoke order or re-using an old vintage piece. She’s been making collections for Chez Bec since the very beginning, and in 2013 she became joint owner of Chez Bec (it was that or have another baby as her youngest started school. She’s glad she went for adopting Chez Bec, there have been less stretch marks and has been able to drink wine throughout). She can now be found running the business on a day to day basis. When, that is, she isn’t busy tweeting. Which she’s not entirely sure counts as work because it’s so much fun.
Chez Bec has one of the largest collections of pearl wedding jewellery available online offering a stunning range of vintage-inspired bridal jewellery, tiaras, headbands and wedding hair accessories. We’re pretty proud to say that nearly every one of our designs is handmade to order in our Studio in the South East of England. Our collections feature an abundance of the most beautiful freshwater pearls and Swarovski crystals which we personally select giving each piece an exquisite finish.
Chez Bec is regularly featured in the leading bridal and fashion press in publications such as You & Your Wedding, Wedding Ideas, Perfect Wedding, Wedding, The Scottish Wedding Directory, Best Scottish Weddings, Brides, Grazia, Marie Claire, The Times and Hello. Full press coverage can be viewed here.
Because we care that you get a) the perfect bridal jewellery for your day and b) a warm fuzzy feeling once you’ve ordered it, we look at the big picture. All orders are lovingly gift wrapped as standard in luxury gift boxes complete with the softest white tissue paper and, if you request it, a hand-written gift card. And all at no extra cost. A perfectly packaged gift or a present to yourself or your bridesmaids.
We have taken our four best-selling designs from the last ten years and reduced them in price, expanded their colour options, making them perfect for the fashion, but budget savvy bride. And you can rest assured about the quality as all of our pieces use exactly the same components as our couture collection – they just take a bit less time to make, and since she’s been making them for nearly ten years, Harriet also knows the designs very very well (in fact she even dreams about them sometimes…)
Our main collection is made up of our handmade, intricate headpieces, necklaces, bracelets and newly re-launched wedding hair flowers. Detail and finish are second to none, and, as with all Chez Bec pieces, they can be made to your specifications.
“Chez Bec is quite simply taking the wedding industry by storm. Already a big name and two times industry award winner, Rebecca and her team lead by example – their designs are unique and elegant, yet ooze that ‘must-have’ appeal. They appeal to brides to be because Chez Bec have an implicit understanding of what girls want and what they want to look like on their big day, and provide perfect pieces for every budget. Perhaps not quite so relevant but important nonetheless, Chez Bec are a joy to work with. They are, and always will be, a big hit at Wedding Ideas.”
