You may have gathered from my Facebook squeeeeeaaaallll yesterday that we’ve made the shortlist for the 2014 Perfect Wedding Awards for Hair Accessories this year. Which makes me very excited indeed.
But I thought I’d write a semi-personal post about why awards matter so much to us…. because (and I’ll be honest with you here) there are a LOT of awards throughout the year, and it’s easy for you, our customers and friends to get, well to get a little bit fatigued with them, but they really do mean an awful lot to Rebecca and I, and here’s why…
- Chez Bec was founded in 2006 by my lovely partner-in-crime Mrs Doyle. She worked all the hours sent (and then some more) to build a brand that she was so proud of that she literally put her name to it. Chez Bec is nearly a decade old and stronger than ever: being shortlisted for awards consistently for the last seven years (and winning a few along the way) is testament to her, and, now that I’m joint owner me too! Becks and I can see that the brand is getting stronger and stronger as the shortlists keep coming. That means a lot.
- YOU our customers vote for us. We work our very hardest to give all our customers the online retail experience that we would want. From emailing at all times (that’d be me, parted only from my HTC to sleep), from posting out orders via express delivery, the thing is, without you we’d be nothing. So when you vote for us and we shortlist, we know generic flagyl online that we’re doing something right. It’s feedback in the best possible way.
- When the lists come out, we’re always thrilled, obviously if we’re on it. But we’re also super happy to see the company that we keep: established brands and people that we respect, admire, and wish the very best to. This crazy wedding industry is big enough for so many different styles of accessories, and we’re proud to share it with some amazing names.
We get to buy a new dress for some of the ceremonies. (shhhh that’s a secret)- It shows that our new designs are what you, our Brides want. This year has seen the orders for our beautiful new hair flowers flooding in – in fact, they are without doubt our best-selling line. And that’s a lovely thing to see reflected in an Award shortlist.
So, to conclude, this post is really just a big thank you. Thank you for Perfect Weddings for acknowledging us and Chez Bec by shortlisting us for their Award. It has put a great big smile on our faces.
