*Squeals* Yup, us. We’re unbelieveably proud that Chez Bec’s collection of wedding jewellery, bridal hair accessories and wedding hair flowers has made the long list for the 2015 British Wedding Awards.
Thing is, we’re very lucky that we love our job. We adore accessorising brides and bridesmaids. Nothing makes us happier than organising a photoshoot to capture our 2015 Bridal Wedding Jewellery collection. But the thing that gets us most excited of all? That lovely email that lets us know that you like what we do too, and have placed an order with US for your wedding day accessories. Genuinely, the smile that we get every time we receive an order is still there nearly ten years on.
Over the past decade, Chez Bec has won awards before. And it’s easy to ask ‘why does it matter’, because so long as we’re doing a job we love (tick), creating bridal jewellery and accessories that we covet and love (tick, tick) and still getting an utter thrill when we see our sparkles in your wedding day pictures and adorning magazine front cover, then why do these awards matter?
Well, to be honest, there are a lot of awards. And it’s easy to get awards fatigue (a genuine thing so I’m told – not had it yet myself!). But why we’re so excited to be long-listed for the British Wedding Awards is that it’s 100% public vote. That’s right, the lucky winners will have been voted for 100% by their customers. And truth is, we know from your feedback that we’re doing the right thing with customer service, and we know from the fact that our Bridal hair accessories and wedding jewellery fly out throughout the year, that aesthetically we’re doing something right. And, can we just say, our cateogry is full of some of the loveliest company you can imagine. So if we don’t win, that’s fine.
