Here at Chez Bec we’re excitedly pulling together all the last details and new bridal jewellery designs ahead of our next styled shoot, which is but a few days away.
And it got us thinking: when we get together on a shoot we bring to the table many many years of wedding industry experience. From flowers that are not only seasonal but our florist knows will pop on film. From our amazingly talented photographer (and friend) Claudine Hartzel, who uses natural light in a way we adore to capture the most exquisite images of our wedding hair accessories and pearl bridal jewellery (really, there’s no one quite like her).
Our hair and make-up team know how to make our models look at their very best, without looking like someone else, they know all the tricks to getting that slightly undone look that you could never create yourself, and for ensuring your make-up stays on all day.
And then there are the bridal accessories, all handpicked with care and put together to create a look that is simply timeless, elegant, and well definitely Chez Bec (and that’s before we are allowed like a child in a sweet shop to pick the most exquisite wedding dresses from our sister company Isabella Grace’s range
So we decided that we would, every fortnight, give you some tips on achieving one of the looks that we put together on our styled shoots, from the accessories to the hair, and what might go with those Peony’s that you adore.
For our first ‘Get the Look’ feature we’re going to break down your jewellery and accessories choices to achieve The Natural Look. It’s how we wished we looked when we crashed out of bed the morning of our wedding day… but perhaps need a bit of help to achieve!
It’s all about keeping your accessories simple and natural. You don’t want to make a statement, you want your bridal earrings to blend seamlessly with you hair style (think loose plaits or a slightly messy chignon, curls shouldn’t be too coiffed, and hair down looks exquisite if you are brave enough to try it!).
