To level with you all, it’s been a pretty eventful week here at Chez Bec Towers.
With a new Director appointed (that’d be me, hello!), a birthday of our founder (Happy Birthday Mrs D), a holiday for two to Antigua (that pesky Mrs D again), a weekend glamping in a shepherd’s hut in Sussex over the weekend with the worst storm for at least 10-years (hands up here, that was my wise idea), and then a lovely weekend away booked for me and my husband also not with children (and also not to Antigua, just York) put paid to by a vomiting 6-year old. Jeepers those kids will do anything to stop me going away (I would insert a winking face here, but candidly, not quite seeing the funny side yet).

The Wedding Ideas Awards are so important to this industry: they take no account of how big or small your bridal business is, it’s all about what you do and how you do it.
Back in 2006 I first met Rebecca who was launching Chez Bec, the bridal collection followed a year later with shimmering Swarovski crystals and A quality freshwater pearls. From the outset it was clear that this was a lady with vision. I still remember meeting her in a coffee shop on Oxford Circus to chat about designs and collections tall, blonde, with a very strong vision… she was always the glamorous one in this relationship, me the slightly quirkier designer of the two!
Having designed and made for Chez Bec since it started, I know that at the very root of the philosophy is the very basic, but very often overlooked mantra of CUSTOMER SERVICE. I don’t use capitals lightly, but it’s so important to us, that you can speak to us, you can email us, and we can advise/deliver/design to your requirements. We’re here to make your wedding jewellery and accessories exactly how you want them.
The other key value can i buy flagyl at cvs that we will simply not compromise on? Quality. Quality of goods, quality of service, quality of craftsmanship. Rebecca has worked so hard to build a reputation based on actual delivery of our promises. And nearly eight years on, we’re still here, happy, designing, delivering and being nominated for Awards. *Squeals again*
So as I caught myself smiling for the 100th time yesterday, I realised why it is that The Wedding Ideas Awards matter so much. And it’s partly because of the company we keep in our own, and in all categories. It’s partly because it is a very lovely pat on the back telling us we’re still doing it right. It’s partly because you, our customers are responsible for determining whether we make it to the shortlist. It’s partly because of the really amazing parties that The Herd throw with such regularity (can I put in a request for those Butlers’ again? Please?!), it’s partly because the judging panel is made up of such wonderful industry professionals, that we all of us respect their choices and, quite frankly, don’t envy them the job of having to pick the final winners. But most of all, what makes us proud, is that in this very competitive world of weddings, there is room for us all: we are all of us different, our niche has always been towards classic elegant timeless pieces that we update season on season. Now with me onboard, the designing process has never felt more innovative and collaborative. Both Rebecca and I were genuinely excited when the images of our 2014 came through, and we realise, that the two of us while having very different strengths, seem to combine to make something pretty special. Well, to us anyway.
So, if you love what we do, if you think we deserve a place on that hallowed shortlist, then please do click on the link below and vote. Takes no time at all, you can skip the categories you want to, and your vote really makes the difference.
But truly, we are honoured to be keeping such fine company with professionals that we admire, and thank you to Wedding Ideas Magazine for being so flipping brill and supporting us here at Chez Bec.
